Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being.
Similar to Yoga, Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility. In Pilates the chance of injury is much lower than other more strenuous forms of exercise.
Pilates also focuses on the mind-body connection. While doing the various exercises your mind needs to be constantly aware of your breathing and the way your body moves.
Group Class, one hour: $20.00 per person
For students who find that the current group class offerings do not fit their schedules, we would be more than happy to schedule a new class for a group of three participants or more.

Christine is Power Pilates Mat Core I and II, TotalBarre, TRX and Spin certified. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance from the Boston Conservatory of Music, Musical Theatre and Dance in 1992. Christine danced professionally for over 15 years, including shows in Boston, New York, Las Vegas and on the Holland America Cruise Lines. Christine’s grand finale for her dance career was being a Las Vegas Showgirl. While in Las Vegas, she had the privilege of being a part of the transition for a major casino on the strip as the Aladdin became Planet Hollywood with the role of Manger of Casino Marketing. Christine is thankful for her many opportunities and is excited to give back to others.

PILATES MAT session for 55- minutes; developing strength, stretch, stamina, stability. Moving safely from the inside out.
BARRE BLAST session for 30- minutes; toning and shaping the body while improving balance and posture.
FITNESS BLAST session for 30-minutes; increasing heart rate while building strength.
